I have always wanted to build a tool chest. A number of years ago Ian’s ( my brother ) tool box was liberated from the workshop here at TN. I could have bought one but thought I could build a much cooler piece. The main frame is 1 inch steel tubing painted with Pepsi Blue Imron. The drawer frames are made from 1.5 inch steel angle. The sides are Oak veneer plywood and the drawer fronts solid beech. I still have to come up with some form of drawer pulls.
