It has been a very busy spring here at True North Cycles. Â Here are a few of the bikes that have left the shop recently. Â Photos are posted more frequently at https://www.facebook.com/truenorthcycles
Keith just picked up his new S+S coupled touring bike. Â It was built to utilize a belt driven Rohloff 14 speed internal hub. Â He went with a red anodized hub to match the Schmidt dyno hub and Edelux light.
I have been building about 40% titanium bikes so far this year. Â Here is Gerald’s new titanium road rocket! Â It is equipped with a Campy Chorus Road group. Â The wheels are a pair of sweet looking Chris King R45 road hubs laced to Stans Alpha 340 road rims.
This is Paul’s new titanium road bike. Â This bike is quite versatile with the couplers , rack/fender eyelets, and also a Wound Up LR fork. Â This fork is specific to long reach road calipers which will allow fenders and a 700x32c width tire. Â The bike also has a Tubus Airy titanium rack.
John treated himself to a bike that fits! Â He is close to 6′ 10″ tall. Â This was a really nice looking bike. Â The super mirror orange powder coat and dark grey Ultegra group look great together.
This is Christian’s new road bike. Â Â This is the same colour as John’s but I added a good dose of copper pearl into the clear coat. Â The pearl really pops in the sunlight. Â This could be one of my favourite colours. Â Â This bike is also set up with Hutchinson tubeless tires. Â Setting up a road bike with tubeless tires is much less work than a mountain bike. Â Â It only takes a 2-3 minutes to install the tire and add the sealant.
