There seems to be a bit of a run on S and S couplings this month. We have four frames right now that are being built as or being converted to travel bikes courtesy of these wonderful little gems.
Pictured above is a customer’s older Ti Marinoni before surgery.
Here is the frame in two pieces awaiting the installation of the couplers.
A close up shot of the top tube. The Ti couplers will be welded into the frame and then the entire frame will receive a bit of TLC to return it to its former glory. I’ll make sure I post a picture when the conversion is complete.
We built up Jennifer’s new touring bike this week. It features trouble-free bar-end 9 speed shifting, Avid disc brakes and Tubus racks.
Here’s a close up of a stainless coupler on a steel frame. The blue paint on this bike turned out really nice.
Deena (pictured on the right) just got back from the first tour on her new bike. She partook in a Adventure Cycling Association guided tour of the Great Allegheny Passage. If you’d like to read up on her travels, USA Today did a great article on the trip.
Last but not least, Nancy’s new Tri bike is ready to roll and looking awesome.
