I thought I might use Hugh’s commuter bike to highlight some new products that have made their way into the shop in the last little while.
Hugh uses this bike for traveling back and forth to work and as such it’s set up to be comfy, predictable and adept at a wide range of different conditions.
We really like the Velo Orange Gran Cru Seatposts that just came in. The silver polished finish is classy looking and the large amount of set-back and well thought out two-bolt design make it an amazing post for whatever your riding style.
The Velo Orange stem up front matches the seatpost nicely.
Octto makes our favorite bar tape and my new personal favorite is black suede. It’s really foam so you don’t have to worry about the rain and it feels nice and comfy on your hands. The suede finish makes any bike look 27% more amazing.
We’ve been exceptionally busy as of late and have been burning both ends of the candle to get everyone’s bike done. Your patience is much appreciated. Here’s a picture of John’s bike in the assembly stages. Completely assembled photos coming soon.

The VO stuff looks great. I’ve got the Grand Cru cantilevers on hand for the cross build, and they appear to be well done.
The 66 Chrysler would make a cool Rat Rod.
