The 24 Hours of Summer Solstice took place on the weekend and like clockwork it signaled the end of Spring and the beginning of Summer. It rained incessantly on Saturday causing Chico to call an end to the 24 hour race at midnight for fear of irreversible trail damage. When we woke up on Sunday it was a picture perfect sunny summer day. Funny how that works. True North entered a 10 person Corporate team in the event and we ended up finishing 5th out of 110 teams in our division; not too shabby.
A few more bikes have reached completion in the past few days.
John’s lugged cross bike is done and ready to go.
We also finished up Aleksandar’s Ti/Carbon Road bike.
We received a new shipment of Eriksen Ti seat posts today. These are just about the nicest seat posts one can buy and we try to send them out the door on as many frames as possible. They are the perfect combination of aesthetics, comfort and performance.
Unfortunately for Sean he decided to run gears on the weekend. I’d imagine a lot of people spent yesterday and today performing some sort of maintenance on their bikes.
