After what seems like too short a weekend we were back to the grindstone this morning. We have a bunch of different frames on the go and along with tune ups and bike builds thrown in it makes for a busy day.
Work has begun on Bree’s Columbus Spirit road bike built around long reach brakes.
Pat’s Ti road bike with a carbon rear end is just about done. Pat has been training hard for a tour he has planned in the Pyrenees and requested a new bike (he already has quite a nice steel True North) with an emphasis placed on light weight. I have a box full of Campy Record waiting to go on this bike.
This is Peter’s new 29er frame.
We’ve built a few frames with the new Paragon disc dropout. It makes for really clean cable routing and is our new go-to dropout for frames equipped with discs as well as racks and/or fenders.
Here’s a shot of the head tube on Peter’s frame.
We also completed Stefan’s long reach brake equipped road frame today.
Just a bit of finish work and some paint and this frame will be ready to go.
Lots of clearance for larger road tires and fenders.
For the next couple of day’s I’ll be in the paint booth attempting to put a dent into this pile of new frames and repairs.
