The North American Handmade Bicycle Show was held in Portland this past weekend. There were some absolutely amazing bicycles on display. I am shocked by the amount of time people have spent on some of these machines. Sam from Naked Bicycles in BC took home quite a few of the awards, congratulations! Maybe next year I will be able to attend. Here are some links to galleries.
The third flickr site is the best. That person has a really good eye for what’s interesting. Why does handbuilt have to look so wierd? Some ideas are really good but I am trying to imagine what the person looks like that rides such extreme geometries. Track seems to be an excuse to go off into the deep end.
